Potential Bot Scam on Chaturbate - Camguys & Moderators Please Review

Wanted to share this with all Chaturbate camguys & moderators so they are aware of a potential bot scam on the camsite.  Chaturbate user 'Noiett' offers DCMA services as well as creating, modifying, & customizing bots on Chaturbate - see profile link for all of his services.  A similar but fake username of 'noiett_official' has been telling models to change their bots which gives this fake bot creator complete access to hidden shows without the model knowing.  It is thought the imposter is using other usernames such as 'cb_noiett' or similar versions...

Active Phishing/Hacking Scheme On Chaturbate

CamGuyNews wants to let all members & camguys who use Chaturbate know about a phishing/hacking scheme on the camsite.  Users with tokens are sending both camguys & users messages via 'pm' or visible on the chat screen offering free tokens along with a link to claim the offer.  'Fredaz2040' had originally attempted something similar but his profile has been deleted (CGN Post 1 & 2).  Below are the names to look out for as of now but there will surely be new ones created...

Here are screen shots of the some of the images CGN has been sent & the very last one shows the page one of the links takes the user too.  It looks exactly like Chaturbate but uses the 'May Masturbation Month' logo in the upper left hand corner.  They will ask you to login to claim your free tokens which gives them your account information...

A Hacker In The Act on Chaturbate???

A Chaturbate user this past weekend was caught attempting to give a camguy a link to some website that would help load his OnlyFans page quickly.  The Chaturbate user is 'fredaz2040' & he attempted his possible scam in an American camguys room who has appeared on Chaturbate occasionally for while.  As of late he's been attracting larger crowds & his OnlyFans is growing rapidly which could make him an attractive target for a hacker.  Here is the attempt below...      

If you are on Chaturbate & see a user ask a camguy to use some 'special page' to login to their Chaturbate account or other account take a screen shot so you can report it to the sites customer service.  A person doing this probably has bad intentions & is likely trying to hack the camguys accounts to gain control over earned tokens or change his payout information without his knowledge.

A source just told CGN that 'fredaz2040' was back in the same chat room on Monday evening sending two tip notes which the camguy acknowledged but didn't do anything & his facial expressions changed after reading them.  Please tell your favorite camguys to use caution & kick users who might be attempting this out of their chat rooms.

Jake Orion Admits He Tried To Fake His Gay Sex Videos

Less than one year ago Jake Orion announced that he was retiring from webcamming which CGN accurately predicted wouldn't last long.  Over the last year he's continued to create trouble for himself with the gay sex video fiasco, the IRS breathing down his neck, & being forced to take a break from social media because of the racist comments he made.  Jake recently created a YouTube video where he tells the 'truth' about what actually took place with the gay sex videos with Vadim Black.

In this video Jake admits he had no intentions of making the final two videos with him topping & bottoming with Vadim Black.  Following months of excuses as to why he had not made the videos customers started demanding refunds instead of accepting replacement videos which forced him to make the videos he had pre-sold.  Jake claims that prior to making the videos that he tried to convince Vadim to "fake" the sex making it look real but Vadim refused.  Jake rates the videos 3 out of 10 with many claiming it was faked.

This confirms everything that several blogs posted including CGN & Str8upgayporn was the truth despite Orion stating otherwise.  He also is facing a massive tax bill & penalties for failing to pay taxes for the past 3 years while asking anyone for advice to help him find a way out of this situation with the IRS.  More recently he is facing a lot of blow back on social media for racist comments he made.  Try doing a Twitter search "Jake Orion Racist" to learn more.  For now he is taking a break from social media in hopes that it will all blow over & he can return to his normal social media activity.

Scam-Guys (Jake Orion & Jesse Prather) & How To Protect Yourself

Updated 8/25/19 with more victims of Jesse Prather coming forward.
Recently CGN has reported on members of camsites being scammed out of their money by camguys.  Members who were scammed continue to come forward on Twitter & forum posts sharing their stories while even calling out those who are doing the scamming.  This article will review a few of these situations & suggest ways of keeping yourself from becoming a victim too.  It would also be helpful if our readers would share their thoughts or suggestions in the comments section at the bottom.

We start off with the recently "retired" Jake Orion who leaves behind an impressive trail of lies & scams.  He is immune to begging & asking his followers to give merchandise or cash as he believes there is nothing wrong with it.  One of his most recent scams was pre-selling gay sex videos & coming up with excuse after excuse for not making the videos that he pre-sold.  He quickly made the videos after a gay porn blog exposed his scam & suggested that anyone who was scammed report him to the FBI (link).  Follow this link to read about his other lies/scams & how he goes about taking advantage of his followers.

Recently we shared how Jesse Prather scammed a member on Chaturbate out of money using an SOB story (link).  Another member has contacted CGN sharing how he "loaned" Jesse money & nearly a year later has not attempted to repay the loan.  During our exchange he shared how Jesse attempted to take advantage of Parker Kane (both former Voyeur Boys) who was helping him get settled in San Diego.  Parker put an end to it which lead Jesse on a rant where he offered to sell Parker's personal contact information & where he works as well.  In return Parker tweets to Jesse's porn agent what he is up to & questions his character...

Unfortunately this situation continues to unfold & Jesse's response to Parker is "I honnestly don't care to be honnest" when confronted about his poor behavior.  He obviously doesn't use the word "honest" often as he cannot even spell it.  We just learned yet another person who was scammed by Jesse is ready to tell their story as well, we will include a link here once it becomes available.

Here is another person coming forward sharing how she dated Jesse for a brief period of time & what he did to her.  We also found a link to Jesse's old Twitter account she gained control of & posted a detailed story of what he did to her... Keep in mind not all camguys are scammers as there are many outstanding guys on webcam.  It is the few bad actors who give these good guys & their camsites a bad name.  Here are some suggestions on how to keep yourself from becoming a victim of scamming & if you do send money to a camguy off-site an idea of how to document the entire transaction from start to finish...

- Keep all financial transactions with camguys on camsites or on clip sites where users must agree to written terms of service & customer service is available 24/7 to help if a situation should arise.  Of all these suggestions presented here this is the most important one to keep in mind.

- If a camguy from Chaturbate scams you off-site the camsite will tell you we are sorry this happened but we cannot help you as it didn't occur on our camsite.  If you tip a performer what he requests for him to do/or show something or if he fails to perform a show they sold you or ask for more credits/tokens leave the show immediately.  Report it to customer service taking note of the time of the incident, name of the performer, & details of what exactly happened.  The Flirt-4-Free customer service reps handle such situations very well while Chaturbate lags far behind.

- Read performer reviews written by members of the camsite if such a feature is offered.  Keep in mind some camsites (Flirt-4-Free) do allow their performers to decide which of their reviews are published & some members will write negative reviews if the performer doesn't do something they demand for free.  In reading through reviews look for ones citing the most specific information.

- Read through a performers social media accounts to see what they are posting & how they interact with followers.  If they are into drugs, constantly asking for money, or saying "trust me" often be very wary of them & trust your gut which is probably telling you to not get involved.  When a performer often says "trust me" or "I always tell the truth" there is a reason they feel the need to say it.

- If a performer asks you for money off-camsite to help pay for something (food, rent, etc.) don't be afraid to tell them no, but if you do want to help out tell them you can take them private on the camsite or subscribe to a clip-site if applicable.  If they continue giving excuses why that isn't good enough tell them sorry that is the best you can do & say goodnight or move on to another camguy.  These guys aren't your "real" friends & you don't really know them.

- If you do give a performer money off-site ask that the performer send an email to you clearly outlining what you are giving & what they are sending/agreeing to in return.  Make sure you take screen shots of all the communication from email to the actual financial transaction.  If the performer doesn't follow through after you send the money you then have everything documented which will put you in a position of power when demanding the performer deliver what he promised or let him know legal action will be taken using the documentation.

Scam-Guy Jake Orion Retires & Jesse Prather Emerges

Last week a camguy well known for his lying & scams announced his retirement from webcamming.  However when one goes dormant another ones deceitful actions take center stage though.  This week a Chaturbate member contacted CGN telling us how Jesse Prather used a SOB story to scam him out of money & hasn't heard from him since or received what he was promised in return.  The entire situation has negatively affected the member in many ways & he hopes by telling his story others won't fall victim as he did.

The Chaturbate member received a message on the site from the performer that he wanted to chat.  The performer told him "my internet was being shutoff later that day along with his power but didn't have money to pay it & hadn't eaten in days."  He also said he had to pay his rent but without internet or power he had no way of earning money to pay it & asked that the member send him money to help.  In return he was offered homemade videos & several free private webcam shows to which the member agreed & sent the money.  The performer didn't log back in that night to do the first of the private shows & the member hasn't been able to contact him since but feels he knows where his money went...

The member goes on telling CGN "The same evening I sent the money he posted a video of himself on Snap Chat smoking a bowl saying I got the most incredible weed."  A week later he logged in on webcam again & the member asked "What was going on I didn't hear back from you after sending the money?"  Quickly he was silenced which angered him as he knew he was being scammed.  He learned from another member he was one of several victims including a female webcam performer that he lived with for a short while was scammed too.

The theme of each situation was promises made & promises not being lived up to with the victims being silenced or blocked when requesting he make good on his promises.  The member ends by saying "Jesse is one of the few models I followed & liked but I had no idea he could be so deceitful."  Keep in mind there are good webcam performers & a few bad seeds shouldn't give them a bad name too.  It is a good idea to keep all transactions with webcam performers on webcam sites or content sites with written policies that all parties must agree to & have customer service agents there to help if the need should arise.

Jake Orion Retires From Web-Scamming???

Performer Jake Orion has had an eventful month of July to date.  He took to his YouTube channel announcing his retirement from performing on webcam.  This was not a surprise based on Chaturbate members lack of interest in a chat room where the only performances taking place was begging for tips unlike other chat rooms where a real performance was taking place.  Jake says that he is currently making enough on his subscription sites allowing him to quit camming, however it would be no surprise to see him back begging on camsites in the near future.

Jake also announced on Tuesday YouTube had fired him & he's no longer able to earn money from his videos.  His channel has been repeatedly reported for being in violation of the sites TOS so they finally acted.  He can't appeal but can apply to have his account monetized once again in 30 days.  Below are a few interesting comments from his announcement...

In his announcement videos he once again makes big contradictions from earlier comments behind his reasoning for making videos in the first place.  More of his followers are waking up & realizing what he is all about which is the reason why we'll likely be seeing him back begging on cam again.  Up to this point Jake has yet to respond to those commenters, he usually threatens to delete those who point out the "real" truth.

Scam-Guy Jake Orion Can't Catch a Break

Web-Scam Performer Jake Orion just cannot seem to catch a break as of late & his 'brand' took a major hit this week.   Flesh Jack this week removed all mention of Jake Orion & his products from their website with no advanced notice.  Did Jake's April 19 tweet below & YouTube videos on this topic have something to do with it?  Or was the product not meeting sales metrics?  Could it be Flesh Jack has been following how he goes about his business & they decided to move on to more ethical or popular models? Whatever the reason the hits keep on coming in 2019...

It all started with Jake contracting Chlamydia back in January but the best was yet to come...  Str8upgayporn a popular gay porn blog published an article calling him out for not making several gay sex videos that he had been pre-selling & suggested he be reported to the FBI for fraud.  Jake threw a temper tantrum upon learning about the article & changed course immediately choosing to make the videos the next day rather than take the chance of being reported to the FBI.

Jake then started a Go-Fund-Me campaign to raise money so he could have surgery to repair his hernia.  However the campaign was reported for potential fraud right away & was quickly suspended until he could provide proof of his condition along with the cost of the surgery from his physician.  It took him 3 weeks to pull all this information together & the campaign was allowed to restart just this week.  It isn't surprising that Go-Fund-Me made the decision to suspend the campaign & require proof based on his misuse of funds from past campaigns.

May 11, 2017 - Enough With Labels - Think As You Please where he claims that he is straight & wants to settle down with a women.  Moving on to that now...  February 7, 2017 - How Being A Cam Model Affects My Relationships - Here he claims that he doesn't tell his "dates" his profession right away.  April 29, 2017 - Why I Am Still Single - the title says it all. May 31, 2018 - Cheating is the topic & admits that he was married for 4 years & is currently going through a divorce, what a contrast to his above videos right? x CGN first reported he was married years ago & that information also appeared in other blogs but he kept on making videos full of blatant lies.  Jake's now ex-wife's Facebook page was posted on blogs & he still made videos titled "Why I Am Still Single" - how honest & genuine is that?  Making it worse for Jake is he cannot recall his lies & then tells new lies contradicting his previous lies.

In his video he claims his gay-sex video fiasco didn't violate any laws & no legal action could be taken.  This is Jake attempting to make his immediate about face on making the videos with Vadim appear as if the blog article threatening legal action didn't influence his decision.  By not offering a full refund Jake did break laws as he missed delivery dates (over 3 months late) & then said refunds would include a 20% fee.  Start reading from "Your Rights When Shopping by Phone, Mail, or Online" to view the law.  The blog article should have provided this link for readers to use FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

Scam-Guy Running Scared?

It appears that scam artist Jake Orion has met his match in the form of a major gay porn blog.  Jake had been pre-selling 3 gay porn videos but failed to make 2 out of the 3 missing his original promised delivery date by over 2 months.  Jake said there would be no refunds without a 20% fee & was coming up with excuse after excuse as to why these videos weren't being made.  That all changed Friday when he found out a major gay porn blog reported on his scam & encouraged those who purchased the videos to report him to the FBI for fraud (link).

Jake threw a temper tantrum once he learned about the article & lamented that he couldn't respond on YouTube as his account had been banned.  Honestly who doesn't run to their YouTube when put on blast for their scamming??  Obviously he got scared as he reversed course very quickly calling gay porn actor Vadim Black to come over right away to make the 2 videos.  Yes, the very same Vadim Black only weeks ago that he said he was cutting loose as two straight guys wouldn't be able to make a video that was hot.  Jake's reaction to that blog article & the FBI threat only proves these 2 videos could have & should have been made months ago.

During his "temper tantrum" he posts about blogs & how they wont even take a "free" interview from him, as if anyone would pay him!!  With CGN a few years back he claimed that our articles about his scamming, lying, & begging were all lies & demanded that they be taken down.  When his bullying attempts failed he resorted to childish name calling which only got him ignored.  Jake did offer to do an interview so he could tell the... truth.  All the content in those articles came right off his Twitter so him calling them lies is rather humorous.  Why would anyone waste their time doing an interview with a proven liar who forgets his lies then tells lies that contradict his previous lies?

Jake's camming career has been on life-support for quite a while now as anyone who has seen him on Chaturbate can attest to.  He doesn't attract many viewers as he only sits there begging for someone to tip him while he looks disinterested as he shows off his delightful personality.  This takes place as other performers have plenty of viewers & tippers as they are engaging, teasing, or doing naughty things as their tip goals are being reached.  Once his clip site pages diminish in numbers what will he turn to next??  He attempted straight porn but claimed no studio would hire him saying they were all "sexist" because he is way hotter & has a bigger cock than most other male porn actors...  Based on his history there isn't any studio gay or straight that probably would work with him at this point.

Scam-Guy Jake Orion & More Drama

Despite it being a new year performer Jake Orion has continued creating drama & problems for himself.  He began pre-selling 3 gay sex videos with an unknown partner last fall promising to release them by years end.  With March only a few days away he recently released one of the videos but has yet to make the last two & just announced yet another delay!!  Jake has provided excuse after excuse for all these delays which really isn't a surprise to anyone who knows his history.

The first delay occurred because Jake was unable to find anyone willing to make the videos with him.  To buy himself more time & pre-sell more of these unmade over-priced videos he polled those who ordered them to find out who they'd like to see him with.  This took a few weeks but eventually he settled on Vadim Black a gay porn actor who lived nearby.  However there would be yet another delay... Jake was diagnosed with a case of Chlamydia that needed to be treated!

Eventually Jake & Vadim got together to make one of the videos that he had been promising, it was released in mid-February.  After weeks of virtually no updates & plenty of complaints Jake announced a release schedule for the remaining two videos.  Jake also stated if he failed to meet those release dates purchasers of the videos could request refunds minus a 20% refund fee!  Facing threats of legal action he tweeted this obviously well thought out response for everyone to see should they be thinking of contacting the authorities alerting them of this situation...

Late Tuesday Jake decided to change things up yet again which would create yet another major delay.  Jake decided to drop Vadim Black & find someone who is actually gay, claiming two straight guys together wasn't going to work as Vadim didn't look like he was enjoying himself in the first video.  Interesting comments since Vadim is an experienced gay porn actor.  Jake is offering all his videos for free on his website to anyone who purchased these two videos due to this delay... Did anyone actually not see this coming?

Jake has several other ongoing excuses or issues as to why these videos have not been made.  The first being he fell off his bike injuring his shoulder late in 2018, a painful hernia, he's been sick the last 15 days, & finally he's straight so having sex with another man is proving to be a lot harder than he thought.  But wait, in this video (link) he describes his first time having sex with another man.  He also has claimed on Twitter to have a video of him with another man & was planning on selling it, but quickly changed his mind.  With Jake saying that these unmade videos are the first with another man he must have forgotten his previous lies.

Jake is constantly talking about his hernia that his health insurance won't cover & costs $50,000 to repair!!  The average cost of repairing a hernia is $6,000 & is covered by most health insurers (link to his claim).  He also won't stop working out which is only making the hernia worse but says working out keeps him from killing himself as he has "suicidal depression."  We've seen him claim this before when he threatened to kill himself if he lost his new home.  This illness he's had for 15 days, insurance covers a trip to the doctor which is now leading many to wonder if he has actually has insurance at all.

Scam-Guys & One's Difficult 2018

With 2018 coming to an end we decided to take one last look at what performer Jake Orion has been up to.  It was a tough year for Jake as he is going through a divorce, lost the house they were building, & says he let his car get repossessed.  Jake came up with every imaginable scheme to have his followers help him keep his house including threatening to commit suicide on YouTube if he didn't get what he wanted, wisely he quickly deleted that video (9/28/18 article & links).

We will start with an update on the never ending "Win a Date with Jake" raffle which is now in year three, at least.  Jake will never sell the required amount of tickets for this raffle to happen so those who did purchase tickets are most likely out of luck.  However the raffle Jake is running could very well be illegal in Florida since he isn't a non-profit entity (raffle law) (state law).  So if you purchased a raffle ticket (if you can remember back that far) there is a chance he'd have to refund all the raffle money he collected if someone decided to pursue it.

This takes us to his current situation where he has been 'pre-selling' over-priced gay sex videos that he is having difficulties finding someone to join him.  Jake is claiming that these gay sex videos will be the first & only ones he will ever make, however that is where he contradicts himself.  A while back he 'claimed' to have a guy/guy video & was going to sell it for a hefty sum making some of his die-hard followers salivate.  Jake however decided not to sell this video claiming people were threatening to put it on the tube sites & he wasn't having any of that.  So we have to ask which story is the actual truth here Jake?

Pre-selling porn videos without knowing who he will be having sex with isn't a good idea as a lot can & is going wrong.  One performer is said to have backed out & he received backlash when he chose a black porn performer which lead him to poll those people who pre-ordered as to who they want him to have sex with.  A lot of porn actors have contracts with their studios prohibiting them from making videos like this & the money/video ownership rights he is offering aren't attractive so how this turns out will be interesting.  Many are calling this just another one of his scams which have lead him to address this on YouTube.  I agree that this isn't a scam, he's only making it look suspicious with how he is handling the whole thing.

Just one fiasco or stunt after another... Based on a few message boards (Data Lounge) (LPSG) a lot of people have taken off their blinders.  If Jake doesn't change his ways it is likely more people will tire of his act.
