Flirt-4-Free Forum & Super Star Performers???

Reading through the Flirt-4-Free forum this week I came across a thread about the recent Flirt-4-Free Games & Cory Fox.  Irvington, the member who started the thread mentions the term "superstar" which in return lead another member Twixel to ask the question whether he viewed Cory Fox as a "superstar" or not?  Below is a screen cap of the exchange...

After reading the exchange of comments above it got me to thinking - how could anyone actually believe that Cory Fox is a "superstar?"  Are both Irvington & Twixel unaware of how Cory Fox has attained the level of success he has on the site?

If the sites biggest spender (Oilstud58) hadn't taken a liking to Cory in 2015 he'd likely be just another face on the home page.  Instead he quickly became the sites top earning male performer winning every award or contest possible with one single tip each time from OS58.  Many members may not be aware of this as the site no longer shows past or current tips from OS58 in Cory's "gifts" list.  Without OS58 there would be no 2015 FOTY, no HOF records, & no Top 20 ranking.  It also sucks the life out of contests like FOTY, FOTM, & other contests as performers tweeted last year "It looks like all remaining contests this year will be bought by a single member."  Most didn't even try or put in the extra time they normally would have since it isn't worth their time.

Most performers probably dream of being in Cory's situation, after all who wouldn't like to be greeted by a 100,000 credit tip?  Cory may be the nicest guy around, but to call him a superstar with 99% of his earnings coming from one member it is a bit of a stretch.  So that leaves the question & the whole point of this piece, what specifically makes a performer a "superstar" & who do you consider a "superstar" in the webcam world?  Tell us what you think in the comments section below.....

Scam-Guy Jake Orion Has Had An Eventful Year

You might be hard pressed to find a performer who has had a more eventful last 8 months than Jake Orion.  After a situation last December where he alienated most of his Flirt-4-Free following he declared the next two days would be his last & he would be exploring his options, but if nothing presented itself he would be back.  Predictably, Jake did return a few days later minus 90% of his following on Flirt-4-Free but had some grand new plans for his camming career.

Jake's plan to resuscitate life back into his failing camming career is to launch a paid subscription site.  When only a few of his remaining fans bothered subscribing he took the 'woe is me' approach whining that so few joined after he put so much work into it.  From there he needed $1,800 to repair his Porsche & then he wanted someone to rent his town home so he wouldn't lose it as he had to move back home to his parents.  CGN reported this was all a hoax as he & his wife (Jennifer) just bought a brand new 5 bedroom home.  Jake quickly changed course & then began asking for money or furnishing for their new home just as he posted on Facebook they had just purchased a new "top of the line fully loaded Nissan Maxima".

Over the last several months webcamming hasn't been going so well for Jake & he let us all know on Twitter (April 4th.)  He writes after 3 years of webcamming he doesn't get a lot of his fans & says it isn't him.  Maybe if he stopped treating them like an ATM & actually got to know them he'd be doing a lot better.  This week Jake put up a Twitter poll asking his followers if it was time for him to retire from camming.  He is just doing this all for attention & has no plans of going anywhere.  Tell us what you think below in the comments section - should he call it quits, stick around, or just stick an Oh-Mi-Bod up his ass so he can pay his bills?

CGN August Camguy of the Month: Akim X

Our August model of the month is the popular Akim X. How did you become a webcam performer?

His journey to becoming a webcam performer is like many other guys in the industry. At first time when I tried webcamming in 2011 year I were studied and worked at bank as specialist of credit.  I was must paying for my education and I did all myself. But earnings from main job was not enough for living and paying and I looked for second job which would be possible to combine with it.  I hadn't knew anything about such industry as webcam at those time.  So was wondered from all.  But I worked not so long time then because found serious job and left it all for long time and emigrated from Russia to another country for work.  But I backed to Russia at the end of 2014 and here happened crisis.  So after few time of thoughts I considered that "why not to shake oldie meat?!" And called to studios. 

What do you like most & least about it?

In whole I like it all.  I just have some exhibitionism fetish so its all pretty easy to me.  Without any orders, obeys, or whatever else.  I'm just doing what I like. Also on webcam possible to find interesting persons and friends around visitors. I met here with my friends - "Hi!" to Rob, Crister, Ricky, Steve, Jay, Paul, Mickey, Wes, Brian, Ed, Jim, Tom, Sam, Philip, Will, Robert, Damian, Dave, George, Pete, and others - you guys are the best!  I like to make them happy and relaxed after working days.  To have friends here seems most important part. Why did you choose Gertsog Studio?

I didn't chose it at first.  I just was invited to work at Gertsog.  So this studio was first studios which I tried.  I know enough about others studios as outside also as inner information.  All studios have strong and weak sides.  I think that's bad idea jumping from studios to studios.  In whole I know how all going in Gertsog and I know that this is stable studio with good placing in city, good cleaning of rooms, free hygienic facilities, sun room, barber, and most comfortable schedule of shifts.  Though it sometimes happens conflicts but I'm understanding that it the same anywhere.

We notice you use the Kiiroo, how is it going?

Yes, I got it and I liked it.  I have the"Pearl," just from those reason because "Onyx" much less interesting for looking on it by performance side.  Mostly it needs to visitors for feeling all touch to "Pearl" though "Pearl" to "Pearl" and "Onyx" to "Onyx" also making contact and both part possible to use as "Pearl" as vibrator or "Onyx" as flesh light with several speed modes.  I am in total opposition to OhMiBod, this stuff just killing all industry and attracting too much annoying freeloaders to rooms.  I'm not ready to spending hours laying with something in my arse though I'm real gay & I don't know this doing straights which using it.  If someone like seeing guys which laying by twitching by tips and nothing else - ok let them visit them.  But I'm bewaring Kiiroo is not reacting on tips, all guys who acting that Kiiroo reacting on it - SCAMS. I'm collecting ships.  Little ships old models.  Just like how it looks.  Also I like history of world especially ancient period.  Hard to have any serious hobbies with such fast rhythm of life here.  Maybe later when I would be older will do some more hobbies.

Favorite beer or drink?

I don't like beer.  It's bad for body and health.  I was 80 kg (176 lbs.) weight when I wasn't broadcasting.  And I good remember how hard I lost my weight.  Beer making tummy fat and also there estrogen - female hormone.  I don't want own boobs thanks without me.  I'm not big fan of alcohol.  But if I'm drinking usual its just Silver Tequila with salt and lime or rum.  Also haven't anything against good wine.

Favorite foods?

I'm preferring Italian or Chinese cuisine.  Seems there are a lot of dishes with my favorite mix - sweet and sour.  I don't like spicy food.  So no pepper or curry for me.

Serious movie: Los Abrazos Rotos - Pedro Almodovar.  Mass movie - Deadpool.  

Favorite Book? 

All by Vladimir Nabokov but not including "Lolita" because there is not his style and he wrote it by pressing of publishers.

Where is your dream vacation?

I have two place which I would be glad to visit.  First is Buenos-Aires, Argentina and second is Fiji Islands.
