Recently a reader of the blog posted a question in the CamGuyNews Forum asking about performers personal websites.  With the rising popularity of these personal sites for camguys CamGuyNews has done some research on the two we see being used the most often in Model Centro & OnlyFans.
Model Centro is a platform that helps performers build & monetize their own personal website with no startup costs.  Here is what the site offers performers... x - 100% startup support & ongoing support   |   - Several themes for the performer to choose from   |   - Performer earns approximately 75% of revenue generated   |   - Hosting, credit card processing, & support are part of the 25% fee   |   - Free domain name for each performers account x

The performer has complete control over their personal website including... - All content uploaded to their personal website - Content includes videos, pics, merchandise, etc... - Subscription pricing, promotions, & trials - What non-subscribers are able to view - Whether or not downloads are available by subs- Offering of live streams for subs & non-subs - Offering private shows with any type of fan - Accept tips on the home page- Accept tips during live streams
Model Centro will see all the information you use to sign up with, their privacy statement also says the performer can have access to all this as well.  The site is highly thought of by the adult industry based on comments found in the XBIZ forums.  A few popular male performers recently launched their own sites using Model Centro including Romanian camguys Dylan Green & Briann Smith.  Their sites names are in the format of 'dylangreenofficial.com' or 'briannsmithoffical.com'.
OnlyFans.com is a simple & easy to use personal webpage performers can use to make money from their content.  Content uploaded by camguys normally includes videos & photos of their choosing or specially requested content.  Here is what camguys receive from having & selling content on OnlyFans... x - Complete control over content that is uploaded   |   - IP blocking is available for confidentiality   |   - OnlyFans takes 20% of revenue to cover payment processing & other costs   |   - Performer controls all subscription costs - $4.99 monthly minimum   |   - Available for performers in USA, Canada, UK, Australia, & most of Europe x

Here is some information for subscribers to be aware of... - OnlyFans uses a third party billing service - OnlyFans doesn't store personal info of subs - Direct messaging with performers you sub to - Fanscope (live) is available on some accounts - Ability to tip performers, $5 minimum - Minimum subscription fee is $4.99 with no cap- Some pages offer 'free trials' - No refunds of monthly subscription fee- Use the site at your own risk x Overall the sites popularity is rapidly rising as it is simple & straight forward to use.  The biggest drawback is the insane amount of tweets automatically sent on behalf of the performer.  Performers can go to their settings & turn all these off, or you can simply add the words "OnlyFans.com!" to your muted words list in your Twitter settings.  Hundreds of camguys are using this site including Steve Rickz (Hattrickz91) & Josh Jakobs. x Selling content off the camsites is definitely on the rise with camguys.  One thing all camguys need to keep in mind is over promoting these sites gives the impression you only think of your fans as a credit card.  What I mean by over promoting is tweeting 10 times a day regarding your site - see Jake Orion's Twitter page for an example of this & you decide what is too much.  Share what you think about the personal web pages of camguys &/or your personal experience with them below. xxx

CGN Performer Recommendation: Jared Shaw

CGN December Camguy of the Month: Oliver Colt

Our CamGuyNews December Model of the Month is... CGN Performer Interview: Landon York on the Flirt Summit in Costa Rica!

Recently we were able to catch up with Landon York for a quick chat regarding his trip to Costa Rica for the 2017 Flirt Summit.  The Summit was held last week from November 13th - 17th & takes place every year around the same time. x How many Flirt-4-Free Summits does this make for you now? So far I have been to three and loved each one.  I went to Cancun, Punta Cana in The Dominican Republic, and now Costa Rica. x What made you decide to attend this years event? I wanted to get a rest after a half year of working, performing, and studying.

What were some of the themes of the parties the camsite held? We had insane drunk parties!  We had Neon, Tropical, and Leopard parties.  We all had a great time partying and hanging out together.
It looked like there were many daily games, which were your favorite? We had many games this year.  Beer Pong, Soccer, Flip Cup, and Karaoke.  Also had team body painting contest.  I loved all the games we played since Flirt4Free Admins were giving raffle tickets for victories leading to 10 prizes.
What were some of the off-site activities you took part in? Daily excursions took place.  Zip Lining in the jungle and river rafting but the rafting was cancelled.  From chatting with Landon I know he made his way to the Hard Rock one evening pre-Summit, there was an earthquake not all that far from his location & he didn't even feel it - the bartender told him about it! x

xx Which other performers were you excited to meet this year? I did really like to communicate with the Russian Models and of course loved the American ones.  This was the first time here for so many Russians.  I spent time with Stan Korz and Julian Haley along with some Ukrainian models too.

CGN November Camguy of the Month: Kyle Coopper

Our CamGuyNews November Model of the Month is...
