Miss Murmurs Gets Hitched & A Hilarious Walk Down Memory Lane...

CamGuyNews would like to congratulate the newly married couple of Mr. & Mrs. Murmurs!!  We hope that Benjy Franklin & his relentless detachment of helicopters weren't too much of a distraction during the ceremony.  Ben's News Blog will do anything to get the story unlike CGN where we quietly took our seats at the biggest cam event of the year.  Congrats once again to the happy couple!

Instead of having helicopters buzzing above the ceremony CamGuyNews decided that it would be more appropriate to give you your own cover page followed by a full recap of the event as it applies to your time as Miss Murmurs... 

Information has been hard to come by but an "Anonymous Tipster" filled CGN in on a few details regarding the reception along with their honeymoon plans.  Following the ceremony certain guests attended an elegant reception which included a performance from stand up comedian Ryin Jackson.  The following morning the couple boarded a private jet to Spokane, Washington provided by a close friend in Dr. Brad Hedlund where they were examined & received clean bills of health.  From there the newlyweds were jetting off to the 'land down under' for their honeymoon in, you guessed it... Brisbane, Australia.  The hot rumor is they will be the guests of honor at the bordello being tended to by good friend Annie Reynolds.  Aren't you jealous of all the fun they will have at night with Annie drinking delicious boxed wine while nibbling on a block of Velveeta as they take in the 10 p.m. Voyuer Boys special?  We hope you enjoyed the walk down memory lane & once again congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Murmurs!

2015 Flirt Summit Location Announced

The location for the upcoming 2015 Flirt Summit recently was announced by the camsite. This year the event will be held at a 5 star all inclusive resort located in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The Summit will last for 4 days total & featured meetings with Flirt-4-Free's team, planned group activities, along with various themed parties. Everyone from performers to studios are encouraged to attend the event so they may share ideas with the company, have meetings with their account reps, & relax with their peers.

Be prepared to see many performers working over the summertime months that you normally would not see unless a contest with a big prize is taking place.  Each month during the summer Flirt-4-Free will be giving away free rooms & a travel stipend to the top 5 credit earning performers each month.  Each of the winners earns their own room complete with an infiniti edge splash pool.  Once all the above winners confirm their attendance plans there will be a random draw with an additional 5 winners from all performers who earned a minimum credit amount & broadcasted a minimum number of hours over the summer contest months.  So many favorites will be online often this summer!

Normally Flirt-4-Free likes to keep details about the event under wrap so don't expect too see much in the way of announcements regarding the event. This includes winners of the free rooms & travel stipends - although looking at the FOTM standings will give you an idea but keep in mind females are included in the competition too.

2015 AW-Summit Awards Show Winners Announced

The first annual AW-Awards show took place today at the AW-Summit in Mamaia, Romania.  The show was streamed online & was interesting to watch. We'll give a review of the show, but first here are a few winners of awards in categories of interest:

Now about the show... It started off with a red carpet walk along with a few interviews from industry workers & models that were in attendance.  Once the dinner service concluded the show promptly started with the stage looking great & guests packed into the balcony for the event too.  The event had two hosts which were a bit "edgy" but I suppose it was better than having some stoic person reading from a card.  As with all live events not everything goes as planned from mics not working to the stream being lost for a couple of minutes & there were a few dead spots in the production too.  But the show went on featuring dancers, acrobat artists, & Romanian Pop / R&B recording artist Corina doing her best to get the attendees on their feet. 

Being this was the AW-Summit's first show of this kind there is always going to be room for improvement.  This includes their voting process, promotion of the event, production of the event which includes the dancers & especially the hosts. With that said, they successfully accomplished what they set out to which was to acknowledge the best Webcam Sites, Workers, & certainly the Models.  Below is a photo of the facility along with a picture of the previous nights party at Club Crema.

Flirt-4-Free Forum: Trolls & Freeloader Debate

Members that only chat & don't take models private or tip have been a hot topic of discussion in forums & blogs for several years.  Members that support models with credits for their time often clash in the rooms or forum with those members who believe chatting & camping out in a room is providing a "service" or "value" of some sorts to models.

I vividly recall the situation with performer August Lincoln a while back.  As a new performer a group of well documented members began camping out in his room & it quickly became a problem.  August a genuinely nice guy asked them to spend a little less time in his chat room so he could get to know other visitors as well.  The groups angry reaction to this request took him by surprise which led him to take a short break from Flirt-4-Free.  August eventually returned to the camsite but he really never felt comfortable again & ended up leaving for good.  Perhaps if camsites sold "Troll & Freeloader Repellent" to be used in severe cases August Lincoln would still be performing on the camsite.

For those of you that weren't around or didn't follow that we'll give you an idea of how the accused "freeloader" thinks & then get into more recent forum posts. Below is a post from "gofish" who is considered to be part of the group that ran August off the site.  I've pointed out the part of his posting where he asks why a member would make a request of a performer when he looks good & is willing to just talk....  Well my response is simple - performers are online to earn money so working his room taking requests for tips & getting private shows is his goal. He isn't there solely for ones free nightly entertainment.

In one of gofish's most recent posts he once again brings up the topic of trolls & freeloaders.  The topic doesn't get brought up unless "gofish" posts it attempting to make a case that he is providing some "value."  Member "Ironclad" responds in a civil manner & is backed up by "ronnie-uk."  I do agree with what is said & believe just chatting for a while isn't a problem but if you cannot contribute a tip or two leave before your welcome is wore out & bickering ensues.  Flirt member "imacumluvr" takes another approach & just writes what most are thinking.... 

After reading responses to his post "gofish" bumps another one of his threads & claims to have finally figured out why viewers don't chat, it only took him what 3 years of posting about it?  However, based on his comments about freeloaders & trolls it's clear he refuses to see the other side of the argument.  A couple other members also give gofish & other "freeloaders" some advice....

It's probably best if gofish doesn't keep bringing this up over & over as most don't agree with his view - or perhaps he just likes the attention.  So what do you think of all of this.... Should "freeloading" just be accepted or should members be booted if no credits are spent when being onsite for a certain amount of time? Tell us what you think below in our comments section...

CGN June Camguy of the Month: Kreon

Our Model of the Month for June & also appearing on our calendar is Russian model Kreon.  He has been a webcam model for over 2 years & has built a nice following working on several webcam sites.  Kreon is a 20 year old young man that is 6'2 tall, weighs 170 lbs, 7" uncut, & has green eyes with brown hair. Members say he is a charming guy that connects with his visitors & works his chat room brilliantly.  Kreon has worked in a few different studios during his time as a webcam model & currently works in Castalia Studio.  I'd like to give a special thanks to the Admin at Castalia Studio for helping bring Kreon to CGN this month.
