2019 AW Awards Final Voting Is Open

The final round of voting for your favorite performers & camsites in this June's AW-Awards is now open.  Final voting runs through May 15th with the winners in all 50 categories being announced at an awards gala in Mamaia, Romania on June 6th.  Daily voting for all your favorites is allowed at the AW-Awards Voting website.  Here are the finalists in a few categories of interest...

2019 AW Awards Nomination Voting Is Open, Sort Of...

The AW-Awards Show which is part of the AW-Summit is returning for their 5th annual show held each summer in the resort city of Mamaia, Romania.  Voting is now open however the event isn't allowing fans to nominate performers, studios, or camsites.  In order to nominate it must be done by a registered participant of the AW-Awards & Summit.  Should you have some extra time on your hands keep checking AW-Awards to see if anyone nominates one of your favorites so you can vote for them through April 15th.  Final voting begins on April 16th so we will have to wait & see what voting process they come up with for that.  Here are a few categories of interest to keep an eye on if you have the time...

2018 Cam Awards Winners: Bucharest Summit Awards, XBIZ Cam Awards, & AW Awards

With the webcam award shows winding down for 2018 we'd like to congratulate the winners of 3 recent shows.  All these shows took place over the last couple of weeks in Miami & the other 2 in Bucharest & Mamaia, Romania.  Listed below are quick overviews of each event & winners from categories of interest.
The 'Bucharest Summit' held their 2nd annual awards show on May 24th.  This year the event was held at Soiree in Bucharest.  Finalists were chosen during a nomination, but then a jury of 11 industry professionals voted live at the event from the list of finalists when each category was called.  Basically the fans who took time to vote in the nominations had no voice in this at all. x The event was streamed lived on YouTube. The 'XBIZ Cam Awards' were held this year on May 31st at LIV inside the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami's South Beach.  The event started out several months prior to the show with a lengthy nomination period which was followed up with a final round of voting which included only the finalists.  Of course there was some drama, but overall this is probably one of the better events. x  Best Male Cam Model: Ricky Rodeo Best Cam Duo: Matt & Steve (Oz_Gym_Boys)  Best Camsite Gay: Chaturbate Best Male Clip Artist: Johnny Stone

The AW-Summit & Awards took place on June 7th in Mamaia, Romania.  The summit portion took place at The Phoenicia Resort & while the awards event took place at the La Scoica Land Ballroom.  This was the 4th year for the awards event which was streamed live & may be viewed by following this link.  This event also included 'weighted voting' for industry workers & made their votes more important than fans.

2017 Bucharest Summit Awards, XBIZ Cam Awards, & AW Awards Winners

With the webcam award shows winding down for 2017 we'd like to congratulate some of the recent winners.  The following three events took place over the last 10 days in Romania & the United States... 

The "Bucharest Summit" had their first annual awards show on May 31st.  The event was held in Bucharest at the Radisson Blu Hotel.  There was a nomination period, but then a jury of 12 industry executives voted from a list of finalists at the live event.  Basically the fans voice whose money makes the industry what it is once again wasn't really heard.  A few winners of interest...

XBIZ "The Adult Industry News Source" held their first annual Webcam Summit & Awards event in South Beach on June 1st.  The Summit took place at the Mondrian Hotel & the Awards Event took place at the Versace Mansion.  The event had a nomination period followed by a final round of voting which allowed all the fans voices to be heard.  A few winners of interest...

The AW-Awards are back for their 3rd annual webcam industry awards show & are ready for your nominations.  Once again Mamaia, Romania will play host to the show on the evening of June 7th, 2017.  Out of all the award shows this event offers the most categories for male performers to be nominated in.  Nominations may be made from March 20th - April 15th in over 30 different categories which include Best Cam Models, Studios, Camsites, & Pleasure Products.  Below we've listed a few of the categories of interest... x

2016 AW-Awards Nominations Are Open...

The AW-Summit will be holding their third annual awards gala June 8th in Mamaia, Romania.  They are asking for fans of webcam performers & their camsites to nominate your favorites to be included in their event.  In total their are over 20 different categories including performers, camsites, studios, industry awards, & pleasure toys.  To nominate all of your favorites do so at aw-awards.com where daily voting is allowed.  This event is the first of its kind & has become very popular with European webcam performers.  If you recall, Chris Aron a performer from Flirt-4-Free took home the award for Camboy of the Year in 2015, will he win it again?  Nominations run through April 30.

The nomination process for this particular event is a little different than the others as anyone can vote/nominate once per day.  They have seeded each category with names for which you may choose from or you can write in your nomination below those names.  Take a close look at the listed names before voting as it doesn't show which website they broadcast from & some of the performers included definitely will raise some eyebrows.  One such category would be the 'Camboy of the Year' as it includes performers such as Cory Fox or James Axel who rank high on Flirt-4-Free only because they have one big spending member in Oilstud58.  There are several other categories in this event which a male performer could compete in, however they are seeded with all female performer names so nominate your favorite guys so they show up in the listing.  Below are a few of the categories male performers may be nominated in & a few other categories of interest:

2015 AW-Summit Awards Show Winners Announced

The first annual AW-Awards show took place today at the AW-Summit in Mamaia, Romania.  The show was streamed online & was interesting to watch. We'll give a review of the show, but first here are a few winners of awards in categories of interest:

Now about the show... It started off with a red carpet walk along with a few interviews from industry workers & models that were in attendance.  Once the dinner service concluded the show promptly started with the stage looking great & guests packed into the balcony for the event too.  The event had two hosts which were a bit "edgy" but I suppose it was better than having some stoic person reading from a card.  As with all live events not everything goes as planned from mics not working to the stream being lost for a couple of minutes & there were a few dead spots in the production too.  But the show went on featuring dancers, acrobat artists, & Romanian Pop / R&B recording artist Corina doing her best to get the attendees on their feet. 

Being this was the AW-Summit's first show of this kind there is always going to be room for improvement.  This includes their voting process, promotion of the event, production of the event which includes the dancers & especially the hosts. With that said, they successfully accomplished what they set out to which was to acknowledge the best Webcam Sites, Workers, & certainly the Models.  Below is a photo of the facility along with a picture of the previous nights party at Club Crema.

2015 Award Shows & Thoughts...

2015 has become the year of the Webcam Industry Award Shows.  Starting with the well planned & successful Live Cam Awards (LCA's), followed by the Adult Webcam Awards (AWA's), & now the Adult Webcam Industry Awards (AW-Awards).  We have yet to review the AW-Awards Show so we'll go over the highlights, then share some of our thoughts & opinions on all these so called "awards" shows in general.

The AW-Awards are part of the AW Summit, one of the biggest in the industry.  Their logos are on our lower right sidebar & are linked to their websites. Their show will be streamed live on the internet & will feature dinner, famous singers, acrobats, & more. Click the "vote here" icon on their website to get setup - the nomination period ends April 15.  Voting for the finalist goes from April 16th - June 1st. Their voting system is weighted - AW considers their sponsors & event attendees more knowledgeable so their votes have various values added when compared to all other votes, like yours who the industry couldn't survive without your money. 

When voting in the model categories (not for exec of the year, etc..) I feel we the fans voice should be heard equally as none of this would be possible if not for us. Other than the weighted voting it appears with everything they have planned that this is going to be quite the entertaining & premiere event.

I know that some of my thoughts & opinions posted here have rankled the feathers of one events organizers (particularly an event to be held in Las Vegas in 2016), but so be it.  I find it sad that some are unable to accept constructive criticism or at least listen to a differing opinion (are we at BN&F right now?)  Learning how to accept constructive criticism is a part of life, it is how we improve, & also a trait that successful businessmen or women share & will talk openly about.  But in this case some are very thin skinned.

For an event to call those questioning a process or worthiness of an event "jealous saboteurs" is quite misguided & close minded - reminds me of the term "Hater." Take what is being said & always look to improve, it is how these other events or expos have developed into what they are today....respected events which bring something unique to the table with class & professionalism.

Here is an idea I believe would work out well, be fun, & meaningful as well.  Have one yearly rotating award show hosted by the already established & well attended summits & expo events.  Make it an open event allowing members, models, & industry workers a single vote with no weighting by who is casting it or favoring models of large donor sites. Put a process in place that isn't confusing by having a nomination period, followed by a vote for the top 5 -10 in each category.  The male models should also have more than one award - how about a few subcategories followed by awarding "The Golden Penis" for best male live cam model?  In looking at all this it really isn't all that difficult is it folks?

Finally, due to the difficulty of getting a VISA into the United States the event should be held in some tropical location as it would be a good draw.  We'd love for you to share your ideas or thoughts on all these award shows below...
