I found this Twitter (X) post from Colombian Content Creator Alejo Ospina & wanted to share it with our camguy/content creator readers or their followers. I've seen social media & various forum posts regarding agencies claiming to manage content creators accounts on sites like OnlyFans. Most often the discussion involves whether or not the agencies are worth the % of earnings they take. Thinking about this the creator is the one planning, filming, editing, verifying the ages of collaborators, building & communicating with their followers on socials. Taking all of this into consideration is an agency necessary to promote the creators page & take a % of their earnings? It's the creator who knows their followers, what content they are looking for, creating that content, so why not be the one sharing what's new with them on socials? Since they are already communicating with their followers daily creating a few posts daily & keeping more of their earnings wouldn't take much, would it?

Chaturbate Sued Over Texas Age Verification Law (Updated & Reposted 03/30/24)

The State of Texas Attorney General is suing Chaturbate for non-compliance with the states new age verification laws. The lawsuit claims Chaturbate isn't doing enough to stop minors from viewing adult content. The lawsuit is asking for $1.78 million as well as $10k a day for every day after the lawsuits filing.
It makes me wonder what changes Chaturbate will have to make to become compliant with this law or might the camsite block access within Texas? This has happened with other porn sites already rather than changing to become compliant in states with laws similar to Texas. Could this force Chaturbate to change their account creation process as it pertains to free accounts (grey)? Interesting times ahead...

Chaturbate has made some changes for viewers who access the camsite from the state of Texas in order to comply with the states age verification law. Any viewer who is in the state of Texas will need to have their age verified in one of two ways. Both of these ways are found on Chaturbate's Texas age verification page. Once a viewer is verified they won't be asked to do this during each login. Keep in mind this is the same for all types of accounts, ones with tokens & greys who haven't purchased tokens. In order to access Chaturbate in Virginia & Utah verification is now required.

An appeals court denied a request to put the law on hold while the entities appealing it reach out to the Supreme Court asking them to review the laws constitutionality.
