The juvenile trolls have yet again proven to everyone on Chaturbate just how juvenile they really are. Late Saturday afternoon in camguy 'fresh_slash' room the trolls used 25 grey usernames they created to disrupt the camguys room which was being modded by xxx_joe00. The juvenile trolls despise xxx_joe00 & this stunt goes to show that Joe really does live in their minds as they have created at least 60 usernames using parts of his username to attack him in the last few months. Here are the 25 newly created grey usernames used in the 'attack' on Saturday afternoon (one listed was used before)...
I can assure you xxx_joe00 is laughing his ass off at this because the juvenile trolls are completely obsessed with him. If this obsession continues xxx_joe00 may have to start paying rent for the space he occupies in their minds!!! However it is the camguy again that is hurt by their behavior & the juvenile trolls just aren't capable of understanding this. This morning I received a screen shot from a CGN reader showing a comment on the troll blog left by admin 'Kyle'...
"Those grey trolls you see on a nightly basis give less than 2 fucks about getting banned. They are there just for the right time to reek havoc".
This comment makes it absolutely clear what kind of people these juvenile trolls are & shows they don't care about camguys at all. They are there to create havoc against the users they are jealous of & to hell with everyone else. This is the reason why camguys allowing them to turn their chat room into their own lil' playground don't last long on Chaturbate as we've seen over & over again. The juvenile trolls move on to other chat rooms while the camguy who just wanted to earn some cash moves on in most cases.
Apparently once wasn't enough for the juvenile trolls because the exact same situation took place yet again in camguy 'limb_ray' room Sunday evening. The usernames used were mostly the same but did include the 6 new ones as noted. Looks like xxx_joe00 is going to have to start paying a premium for the space he is occupying in their minds at this rate!!!

Advice to moderators in a room filled with trolls: do NOT engage with them. Give them a warning and move on. If they continue to disrupt the room, silence them and move on. If they return with a new username, same thing: one warning, then take action, and move on. The important thing is to not give them any reason or excuse to stir up negativity in the room, or provide an opportunity for them to garner sympathy from the rest of the room by you appearing prejudiced towards them, or your actions appearing vindictive.
ReplyDeleteThe trolls want to be noticed and to be the center of attention: don't talk to them (except the one warning) and deny them that opportunity. If they continue their behavior, then silence them, but don't turn them into "martyrs for the cause" by talking about them. Do to them what they hate most: ignore them.
And moderators, one more thing: you were selected to moderate the room and work on the cam model's behalf to maintain peace and the smooth flow of operations in the chat, NOT to engage in arguments with trolls or carry out petty vendettas to avenge previous wrongs done you by the trolls. If a known troll attempts to goad you with private messages into retaliating, take screenshots and send them to CB support...don't give the trolls or their platform any "evidence" to prove your malfeasance to their prejudiced and biased supporters: it's an echo chamber there, and everything you say or do can and will be used against you, so let your own behavior be above recrimination to the point that they are forced to obviously photo-shopping there images, further undermining their credibility (not that it will matter...echo chamber, after all).
And to the regular targets of the trolls: no matter how cute or sexy you find a broadcaster, if they are going to accept the words of a troll over the evidence of their own eyes (assuming you have been well-behaved in the room), do you really want to spend time with someone that gullible and/or distrustful of you? If they kick you out, don't create a grey account to go in and complain about being kicked out...just stay out and move onto another broadcaster who will hopefully have better judgment and discernment. While it may feel like you are letting the trolls win, YOU know you were not at fault...if a broadcaster kicks you, despite whatever connection and rapport you established with him, then perhaps he was not the best person to connect with?

DeleteTo the broadcasters: I know it cannot be easy to monitor the chat personally while you are performing, and so you appoint moderators to help out. However, even if you appoint someone you trust as a moderator, you still need to pay attention to what he or she is doing, and decide if they are being supportive of the atmosphere you want to create in your chatroom, or if they are being petty and vindictive and following their own agendas while supposedly keeping the peace in your room. The fact is, some supporters are really bad at moderating, and you need to be ready to demote them back to ordinary user if necessary.
You also need to pay attention to what's going on in the chat and use your own judgment on whether or not you trust what someone says about another user. As I said, I know you are busy...but you need to use your own eyes and "ears" and experiences with a targeted user to decide if the accusations being leveled at the user are credible or not. Will you blindly accept the word of a grey user who has only just entered your room over the words of someone who has been in your room frequently and been supportive, not only through tipping but also by providing valuable advice and suggestions?
You are the one in charge of your chat room. Not the moderators, not the greys, not any of the other color users (including your fan club members). You set the standards for behavior, you set the rules by which all users need to abide by and which the moderators you assign need to enforce. You get to decide who can stay and who needs to leave. But for the sake of the success and longevity of your on-cam career, be careful and take the time to come to thoughtful decisions about the accusations being made, and then act accordingly.

You may want to think a little before you post here. I rarely delete comments unless they are profanity laden or full of baseless attacks. A little common sense goes a long way, what the trolls get away with on Chaturbate won’t be tolerated here.

In case you aren’t aware 18 is the minimum age to be on Chaturbate & anyone can choose to view whomever they choose so your age argument falls flat yet again. Facts are always welcome here & when something is presented it is backed up by facts, maybe that is what bothers the juvenile trolls most?
Imagine if you were under constant attack by the trolls as b3000 is & gets kicked out when a juvenile troll tells one of their usual lies? How would that make you feel? I wish he wouldn’t use grey names to defend himself from the lies but I also understand it with everything he is accused of – I don’t call that trolling. B3000 owns a space in the juvenile trolls mind like xxx_joe00 does & rents going up daily. All b3000 wants to do is enjoy the camguy chat rooms & he cannot because of the juvenile trolls behavior. I encourage them to grow up already & quite embarrassing themselves.

B3000 admitting it's him after he gets kicked for annoying the cammer "nickonly18" by bossing him around and telling him what to do while not tipping him a single token. He also admits to why he got kicked, so "the trolls" telling Nick to kick him for recording is non-existent here.
But of course those are the only instances you show. Your elderly buddies being trolls of their own volition goes against your "zero-integrity" policy.

I know what a troll is, I see more than I care to on Chaturbate. I don’t know b3000 but have been in hundreds of rooms with him, he’s under constant attack & I’ve never once seen him start something but have seen him kicked out for no reason other than trolls lying to the camguy. So he was trying to help a camguy out, something happened between then & the beginning of the screen shot which we don’t see for some reason. Scrolling back up would easily have shown this. The rest is useless banter that always takes place when this occurs.
I don’t like it when he comes back to defend himself when unjustly kicked, already said that, but considering all the times I see this game play out I cannot blame him for it nor do I call it trolling when he is calling out the trolling. We all know who the trolls are, Chaturbate knows it as well based on the number of banned accounts.
The age argument again? Tokens are tokens no model cares about that only trolls who got nothing else. Screen shots of a troll tipping? Doubt it. That Kyle dude is the gift that keeps giving, you should have thanked him.

ReplyDeleteI don’t know why he was banned for sure, but I’ve seen enough out of him to say it is overdue. He’d been promoting & inviting users in other camguy chat rooms to come to his own chat room. This occurred both while the camguy was in the room & after he logged off too. I saw other users warn him about this but he didn’t listen, so if he was banned for this he cannot say he didn’t know.
