Armani is surrounded by headlines from this week including XBIZ Webcam Awards announcing their finalists & the start of voting. Also shared is performer news including long time webcam performer Izzi announcing he will be retiring from camming. Finally Jake Orion was none to happy to learn that Go-Fund-Me suspended his recent campaign to pay for his hernia surgery as it was reported for potential fraud... G-F-M told him he needed to provide a quote from his doctor to get it reinstated but after two weeks no word from Jake about where that quote is.

Izzi retiring? So is Stefano next?
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, I've never been a fan of Izzi and reading about some of his legal issues only kept me further away. Still he clearly had a strong enough fan base to keep around for long and to still finish in the Top 10 of these holiday promos even after taking away that unique username loophole. As with any of these cam models, I wish them well and luck.
No surprise with Jake and I'm pretty sure he'll continue to campaign new projects for funds. Any takers? Interesting note that he did resurface on Flirt last week even though he apparently was banned but maybe it was just a one-off thing ?
Izzi tweeted he is retiring in two weeks, so his final day should be upcoming if he follows through. This isn't his first retirement from webcam though, keep that in mind too.
DeleteI don't see Stefano leaving the webcamming industry. He shows no signs of slowing down as a performer & has an ownership stake in the Aphrodite Boys Studio too. At some point you'd think being on webcam wouldn't be an option anymore, but he can pass his time working in his gym in Brno, Czech Republic where he is part owner.
It took 3 weeks but Jake finally went to a doctor & got a quote for his hernia surgery. He originally asked for an amount he thought it would cost but after being reported Go-Fund-Me stopped it (considering his past fund raising shenanigans) until he could provide proof from his doctor. He is back on Flirt-4-Free on a limited basis, not sure what if/any stipulations they made him agree too as his previous exit wasn't smooth. From how he talked about the camsite in private shows & in social media I'm surprised they even want to deal with him again.
