The annual Flirt-4-Free Halloween Celebration & Contests are now in their 3rd day but the drama started early on the 1st day! Flirt-4-Free finally changed the rules in the "Most Unique Tippers" contest by counting each customer as one & not counting each of their usernames as one. This makes this particular contest more fair & shows who is really putting in the time working their room for tips. Once performers & members learned of this change the complaining & bitching started spilling over into the General Discussions forum early in the contest, the original posters comments are all shared below...

The original poster is perturbed Flirt-4-Free made this change & it is likely that his favorite will no longer be in the running to win this contest. He can still tip the same amount & one will go toward the 'unique' contest while all tips will go toward his favorites 'overall' contest tip count. Izzi is one performer who always used this method to win the 'unique' contests & had advertised his plan to win this contest again but was none to pleased when he learned Flirt-4-Free changed the rules. His plan now is to compete in the 'overall' contest against the sites big spending members like Oilstud58 & the performers they support. Below are forum responses to the original poster who finds no support for his stance...

This rules change is long overdue as the contest is called 'unique' which implies individual members not an individual member & their 10+ user names. In one of the original posters responses he told others to read the rules as everyone knew about the ability to use different user names as it was written there. In going back & looking at all the different holiday promo pages there are no rules posted as there was for the 2018 Halloween Celebration. We are certain rules were included due to this rule change & the drama caused by Brock Cooper's sour grapes in July's Big Bang Contest. Let's hope Flirt-4-Free keeps using this rule in all of the holiday contests as it helps to keep things fair. x
Both pumpkins contests now are fair and I'm more likely to tip now.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that there are people on the site whose lives are so meaningless that they have nothing better to do than bitch about a tip contest. How pathetic!!
ReplyDeletePoor Izzi serves the douchebag right.
ReplyDeleteTwo big thumbs up to Flirt for finally doing the right thing! Unbelievable that even after this change, there are users who still complain with a poor argument. Sometimes it feels like they're the ones more upset than the models.
ReplyDeleteBrock Cooper's sour grapes are from losing the most collected fireworks, not necessarily most unique customers but whatever the reason behind this change, I'm happy to see. We all know OilStud is going to boost his favorites every time for most collected pumpkins (hearts, eggs, beer etc) but at least other models have a fairer chance with the unique collection now.
As of this writing Izzi is hanging on to 10th place but I have no doubt results would have been different had that loophole not been addressed.
Yes, Brock's sour grapes were from the other contest but I feel like the drama caused is one of the reasons we now see a rules icon clearly stating the rules. It should have been there regardless so it was a good choice. Izzi is not happy at all & let his room know it the other night... Things hit the head for Izzi with the rule change & his friend (he's in Romania right now) kicked him out of his house so he had to find a hotel for a few weeks until he goes to The Maldives. When it rains it pours!
DeleteIzzi will pout and bitch to Flirt so you can bet they will change the rules back.
ReplyDeleteLOL... Can you imagine being stuck on an island in The Maldives with him this month?
DeleteI don't care if Izzi is a "star" or "superstar" on Flirt4Free. All Flirt has done is (somewhat) level the playing field. Surely a performer of his experience will have no problem overcoming this "setback" by upping his game and drawing in new fans to support him. And yes, I'm being sarcastic...if he could do that, he would not need to utilize the loophole in the first place.
DeleteIf Flirt4Free backtracks and removes the rule they implemented this time, I have a feeling that there may be a (minor) uproar among the members...who will probably face the same backlash that arch313 did. Or, on the other hand, perhaps not...perhaps the majority of the site is actually happy that the rule was put in place for this past contest?
I guess we will just have to wait until next February for the Valentine's Day contest to see what happens.
It will be interesting to see how Flirt-4-Free handles the Valentines Day Contest... My guess is they will look at the profits & do what is best for them. Comparing same contests year to year in the "Overall Pumpkin Tips" category the Top 10 in 2017 received 9,435 more tips than in 2018. A lot can influence this such as days the contest falls on, rules changes, etc... but that is a significant number. We don't know total numbers from this years "unique" contest which would be helpful but perhaps that is why Flirt masked the numbers.
